  1. You just have this knack of blowing me away with every photograph I see of yours (which I one reason I drove all the way to see your exhibition in Penrith in Feb)…These are stunning and I bet they look so good blown up big in frames. Bravo Helen!

    • Thank you James, I’m always grateful for your friendship and support. I got some lovely soft light at dusk on Friday :)

      • I hate harsh summer afternoon light, and you have picked up the evening light so well .I have hardly had my camera out for the past few weeks – I have an eye injury – my grandson whacked me in the eye (he is 6 and didn’t know what he was doing) but I am effectively blind in my right eye – I have to see the specialist in a couple of weeks but the GP says I may be blind in it. I can shoot (more or less) from my left eye – try it and see what I mean- but I find processing them almost impossible with one eye, I just can’t tell if the image is in focus – so I am posting my old shots until I get it better :-(

        • Oh no, I knew you had hurt your eye but didn’t know it was badly injured. I am a left eye focuser, I have perfect vision in my left eye, but poor focus in my right which affects my DOF perception. I hope it heals soon. Sending you good vibes :)

          • Thank you :-) …I was told by the GP it would heal up, but another doctor say the optic nerve may be damaged..anyway I am seeing the specialist in a couple of weeks so will know for sure then…my friend has a glass eye and he says you do adjust but it takes time…We’ll get together soon for a chat and a walk…I am a bit busy for the next couple of weeks but probably late August,,will give you a shout later on and arrange something…:-)

I would love to know what you thought of this article...
